We need ballot boxes.
Millions of Americans will be voting with absentee/mail-in ballots this November due to the pandemic. But the Trump Administration has eviscerated the US Postal Service just in time for the election. Is there a secure ballot box in front of your library or post office? If not, use our artist's version and send the result to your state legislators.
You can use this with any photo editing app or text editor. When you're done, go to openstates.org to find the contact information for your state legislators and email your work to them. Post it on their social media accounts, too. Then post it on your own social media accounts, and make sure to link back to this website so that others can do the same. We are a mother and child in Ohio who care about democracy. Our state has only 88 ballot boxes, one in front of each county Board of Elections building, for a land area roughly equivalent to the nation of Iceland. Our Secretary of State, Frank LaRose, says that the state legislature can ensure the installation of ballot boxes in front of every library and post office. That's what we want for Ohio, and we made this website so that you can creatively demand the same thing where you live.
